About Melrose Place Salon

Laura Anderson opened Melrose Place Salon 28 years ago with a simple vision: to create a welcoming place where people could feel cared for, confident, and their best. The name was inspired by the popular ’90s television show Melrose Place—and over nearly three decades, it has become a familiar part of the Melrose community.

Today, Laura’s daughter, Jenna, works alongside her behind the chair, carrying the family connection into the next generation. Jenna dreamed of building upon what her mom created by bringing beauty and wellness professionals together, creating a space where independent providers could grow their own businesses while building connection and community alongside one another. While hair will always be at the heart of Melrose Place, the salon has grown into so much more.

Now, Melrose Place Salon is home to a talented group of independent beauty and wellness professionals offering hair, nails, massage, and esthetic services, including facials, waxing, lash lifts, and tints. Laura also continues to offer tanning packages.

What began as a dream of creating a local salon 28 years ago has evolved into a space where clients can enjoy a variety of beauty and wellness services under one roof, while also supporting local women building businesses of their own. Through all the growth and change, the heart of Melrose Place remains the same: creating a welcoming place where people can come in, feel at home, and leave feeling their best.
